Two Thousand Dollars worth of P.E. Tech Equipment

If I was given a $2000 budget to buy technology for use in my PE class I would make my first purchase be a set of projectors, two FAVI LED LCD HD Projectors, Model: RioHD-LED-2.  This would only take up about $400 of my total budget so with the rest of the $1600 I would purchase 16 of SPORTLINE's 1060 Duo Multi-Function Pedometer/Heart Rate Monitors.  $200 for a projector is a pretty good deal, but, all business aside, this would be a smart investment because a projector would serve multiple purposes in the classroom. Aside from the more obvious ones(power-points, instructional videos, fitness workout tapes, etc), these two projectors will also facilitate in presenting the information that students will be gathering from their multi-function pedometers.  Although these special pedometers are a bit pricey, when students want to compare their figures to their classmates' figures, they will be able to compare much more than just the typical number of steps, distance, stride, and speed--they will be able to compare each others heart rates, calories, and amount of fat burned as well.  All this will be ready and available for their eyes to see immediately thanks to the down loadable software and the great projectors.
