If I was given $2000 by my employer I would purchase a digital recorder so that I can voice record my patient's information after each visit. This information can be transcribed and put into digital files. I would also purchase a 64 GB iPad, this would be beneficial, because I could load my patient's files onto the iPad such as the past transcribed files, past medical history, current medications, etc... This would be beneficial since the hospitals do not have all of those past records on file. I could also add information to their file on the iPad and this could later be synced to my office computer system. I would also purchase and iMac desktop computer so that the iPad and iMac will be able to sync all the information properly. This will help to keep all my patients files in order, and they will be easily found and used when needed.
