Technology Spending
If I was given a budget of $2000 I would start off by getting 24 pedometers for the class. The OMRON HJ-720ITC Pocket Pedometer is the kind that I would buy. They will allow the students the ability to measure the steps they took, calories burned, and distance traveled. Each one cost $29. That would be $696 which is kind of a lot but it something that I would take full advantage of, If I had them. Another piece of technology that I would enjoy is a projector that I could set up to put on the wall. I could use it to show videos and it would really help me in the demonstration of skills. Also for power point, if I made a power point to help teach my students I could use it for that. Another reason I would like to have it is for a clock reason. If I put a timer up on the wall, the students would know exactly how much time they have in the activity. The type of projector I would buy is the Otoma tx 542 Projector. The cost of the projector is $599. The last thing that I would buy is 12 Time 5J031 Unisex Digital Watch Heart Rate Monitor. They are $49 and that would be the last of my spending. I feel that technology is apart of every students life and it can be a way to keep them motivated.
