$2000

With $2000 to spend on technology for physical education, I would buy two Epson-Multimedia Projectors found here:

They each cost $999 and I would buy two of them so that more than one teacher and class can use the technology at the same time. With the projectors, I could hook up my computer and do a variety of things such as play workout videos, show videos of skills, and project my lesson up on a wall. It would expand the amount of activities I could teach because I could bring in outside sources and would be a great way to show the correct form of a skill if I was not able to perform it adequately. Also, I could have students come up with their own PowerPoint’s or video assignments and they could be shown to the entire class using the projector. Having a projector is a good alternative to a chalkboard or whiteboard because it allows the class to be up and moving and far away rather than having the students huddle in to look at what to do next. It will also give the students an opportunity to see workout videos that they may be interested in purchasing or using outside of class.
