So of the options for PE we talked about, traditional, online only, and hybrid...i'm going for hybrid. for a couple reasons.
Can cover more thuroughly, the coginitive domain. During class a teacher has to struggle with keeping students active yet we need to know that they know things other than the psychomotor domian, which can be difficult at times, trying to balance the two. If we have the ability to essentially give homework, not only can we do a more thurough and more individualized cognitive testing of our students, it will be in a more accustom form, using technology.
Might be more valid in the eyes of those who claim we're not. We have more physical evidence saying, "this is what students have learned", and in class you can see them apply it. I think because of this it would make it easier to keep PE programs and or solidify their presence further.
