In a regular physical education class the students benefit phychomotorly, cognitively, and affectively. In an online physical education class there is no affective aspect and it is hard to evaluate whether the students are being challenged in the pyschomotor and cognitive domains. There are also no opportunities for gameplay among peers in online physical education which is what I feel makes physical education fun for most students.
This blog is for the use of KIN 460 students at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Students will post to the blog at least once every two weeks.

I do not support the permanent use of online physical education because I think there are more negatives to that type of physical education than positives. I believe it can be used as a last resort if there was no other way the student or students could get access to physical education. I believe it is too hard to evaluate and assess. It also makes demonstration and feedback much more difficult than it would be in a normal physical education class. Online physical education also does not cover the three domains of physical education because there is no social benefit.
